A Gathering Of Anti-Gun Hypocrites

posted on September 12, 2015

Like every good gun-control event, the Everytown “Whatever It Takes” rally also featured the presence of armed security for the anti-gun politicians. While Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe was preaching that, “This is an issue I talk about every day”—referring to so-called “universal” background checks—his burly bodyguard kept his eyes on the crowd and his trigger finger ready.

We’ve heard this tale a time or two, haven’t we? Political elites scheming for new ways to disarm America, all the while being protected with the very tool they would like to deny us access to. It’s the same tired old refrain: “Rights for me, but not for thee.”
