Anti-Gunners Protest Proposed N.Y. Gun Shop

posted on November 1, 2016

Opponents of a proposed gun shop in Harrison, N.Y., have started an online petition against the business and, within 24 hours, had gathered more than 1,500 signatures, ABC7NY.com reports

Even though the owner of L and L Sports, Louis Vacchio, has operated his business for 15 years, says that most of his clientele are members of law enforcement, and pledges to keep his inventory secured—and even posted his phone number for people to contact him directly—opposition against the business is mounting fast on social media.

Protestors plan a demonstration at the next town board meeting on Thursday, but the store may already be open by then.
