Armed California Man Stops Knife-Wielding Burglar

A California homeowner on Saturday morning shot and wounded a knife-wielding thief whom he found in his garage.

According to local media reports, the Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., man heard noises in his garage and went to investigate. When he got to the garage he saw a man burglarizing his car.

When the burglar saw the homeowner, he jumped out of the vehicle and advanced toward him with a knife. The homeowner then drew a handgun and shot the burglar.

Police report that the suspect was on post community release supervision and was also in possession of drugs.
