Armed Citizen Fights Of Home Invaders In Alabama

posted on August 22, 2016

A home invasion last Thursday night in Alabama left one of three armed intruders dead after a resident of the home fought back.

According to local law enforcement, three armed men kicked in the door of a home in Choctaw County, Ala., entered the home and began shooting. The homeowner returned fire, hitting one of the suspects and putting an end to the attack.

“Upon deputies’ arrival, the suspect was deceased,” Sheriff Scott Lolley told WTOK.com, adding, “You do have the right to protect inside your home and you have the right to protect anyone inside.” Officials continue to look for the other two suspects.
