Armed N.C. Man Stops Home Intruder

A Fayetteville, N.C., man on Saturday shot a man breaking into his home, putting a quick end to the intrusion.

According to local media reports, the homeowner said the other man tried to break into his home around 4 in the morning. To stop the break-in, the homeowner shot the intruder.

Police said the suspect was taken to a local hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds.
