Armed Ohio Homeowner Fends Off Intruder

Police in Columbus, Ohio, have arrested a man whose home invasion plans came to an end at the hands of an armed homeowner.

According to local media, 27-year-old Fredrick Eisnaugle kicked in the back door of a Franklinton, Ohio, home early Friday morning. The homeowner confronted Eisnaugle and shot him, sending the invader fleeing. Police found Eisnaugle nearby, arrested him and transported him to a nearby medical facility. He is expected to survive his wounds and has been charged with aggravated burglary.
