A Cleveland, Ohio, man used his personally owned firearm to battle an armed robber early Monday morning, possibly saving his own life.

According to media reports, the 23-year-old Cleveland man was walking from his home to a nearby location when he was confronted by a man with a gun. “Give me everything,” the suspect said.

The victim ran and traded gunfire with the robber. He was later treated for a gunshot wound to the shoulder, but at the time of this report had been released from the hospital.
