Armed Pennsylvania Pharmacy Owner Stops Robbery

A pharmacy owner in Levittown, Pa., on Friday shot and killed an armed man who was robbing his pharmacy.

Following the incident, both local police and the district attorney praised the pharmacy owner, saying he had no choice. “There is no thought that we would prosecute the shooter in this case,” District Attorney David Heckler told local station WPVI. “He was entirely justified in his conduct, and frankly should be commended.

“From what I can see, he performed a public service in taking out this fella,” Heckler added. “The fella asked for what he got and he got it.”
