Armed Robber Stopped By Armed Citizen

A man attempting to rob two workers at Buffalo Brothers restaurant in Garner, N.C., was shot by one of the workers early Saturday morning. 

According to local media reports, two suspects went into the closed restaurant and attempted to rob two contract employees who were inside working on the interior of the building. The four people got into what police described as a struggle, and one of the suspects was shot. 

The injured suspect was taken to an area hospital for treatment and has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon. According to police records, he had been previously arrested and charged 13 other times in North Carolina.
