Bakersfield Man Protects Family From Invaders

A homeowner in Bakersfield, Calif., was with his wife and three children when two men reportedly burst into their house, wearing masks and holding guns. The resident drew his own firearm and shot at the suspects, injuring one

Police arrived at the scene quickly, having already been notified by the alarm company of a problem. They heard shots fired and apprehended the wounded suspect as he attempted to escape. His accomplice is on the loose and being sought by law enforcement.
