Bill Names Texas Highway After Chris Kyle

The Texas Senate has approved House Bill 1187, which will name a section of U.S. Highway 287 after U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle. Kyle, the legendary sniper featured in the popular American Sniper book and film, was killed in 2013 by a disturbed veteran he was trying to counsel. 

Once Gov. Greg Abbott signs the bill, the Chris Kyle Memorial Highway will be established in Midlothian, Texas, where Kyle attended high school.
