California Legislature Back In Business—Unfortunately

California’s legislative session reconvenes today, giving lawmakers more opportunity to continue trashing the rights of law-abiding Golden State gun owners.

As previously reported, Gov. Jerry Brown signed a number of anti-gun bills as the legislature went into summer recess. (For a summary of the recently enacted legislation, click here.) 

NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action reports that staffers there are currently reviewing all possible action—legal, political and legislative—to stop these anti-gun bills from taking effect. A rundown of current litigation as prepared by NRA-ILA’s California legal team can be found here, and don’t forget to check NRA-ILA’s webpage frequently as they keep California gun owners updated on the latest from the legislature.
