CNN Finally Gets It (Kinda) Right

In an unexpected turn of events, CNN on Friday got it right when describing the National Rifle Association, even though it was clearly meant as a slander.

In a ridiculous rant under the headline “Trump, Reagan and the NRA's radical agenda,” Dominic Erdozain wrote, “For the past several years, the NRA has advanced a radical agenda of unlimited freedom as the birthright of every American, and the vision is passing into law.”

Of course, to Erdozain, “unlimited freedom” is a bad thing. Yet to 5 million NRA members, including nearly 80,000 meeting this weekend in Atlanta at the 146th NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, freedom isn’t something to be ashamed of.

Please, Mr. Erdozain, tell us more about this “unlimited freedom” you seem to disdain. Why shouldn’t we wear such an accusation from you as a badge of honor? After all, what’s so “radical” about freedom?
