Concealed Carrier Fights Off Armed Robber

A concealed-carry permit holder fought off an armed man trying to rob him on the street Wednesday afternoon in Dover, Del.

According to local media reports, two men were walking down a street when an armed man approached them and attempted to rob them. The men fought back against the robber, who began shooting at them. One of the victims, who was licensed to carry a concealed firearm, pulled his gun and fired back, sending the robber fleeing.

Local police report that nobody was injured in the incident. A suspect was arrested shortly after the attempted robbery and was charged with robbery and other offenses.
