posted on November 30, 2015

A couple in Aiken, S.C., became the targets of a crime when they responded to a Craigslist ad. The man and woman met two strangers with the stated intent of purchasing a vehicle from them, but the men reportedly pulled weapons on them once they arrived and demanded the money they had brought. The woman responded by drawing her own firearm and fatally shooting one of the suspects.

According to WJBF, sheriff’s deputies are searching for the second suspect, whom witnesses described fleeing the scene. No charges have been filed.
