Delivery Truck Driver Pulls Gun, Halts Robbers

posted on October 29, 2016

A food truck driver had a special delivery for three criminals in Virginia last week—his permit to carry and his firearm.

Henrico police officers responding to a shooting around 11 p.m. Friday night found a food delivery driver who had foiled an attempted robbery. A police spokesman told WTVR-TV, “The victim reported being approached by three black males while attempting to make a food delivery. One suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim then pulled his handgun and fired at the suspects, who fled.”

An investigation quickly led to one of the three suspects, 18-year-old Mouctar Bah, who was charged with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Police also arrested the two other suspects, one of them a juvenile who was wounded in the confrontation. His injuries are not considered life threatening.
