Displaying the very height of arrogance—as usual—California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom is once again bragging about his state’s unconstitutional gun laws, which are negatively affecting law-abiding gun owners.

On Tuesday, following the announcement that NRA and others had filed suit to fight Newsom’s restrictive “gunmageddon” gun control package, Newsom tweeted: “Hey @NRA-the people of CA have already spoken. Loudly. We reject your $ driven agenda. We're focused on saving lives.”

Of course, California already had the strictest gun control laws in the nation, and neither the old laws nor the new ones have done anything to stop recent murders there. Meanwhile, gun-banners continue to push for more and more useless restrictions.

That fact prompted NRA’s Twitter response to Newsom: “Hey @GavinNewsom - The Constitution is clear. Americans - EVEN Californians - have #2A Right to Keep and Bear Arms. #sorrynotsorry.”
