Good Guy With Gun Stops Knife-Wielding Madman In Ohio State University Attack

posted on November 29, 2016

After a suspect ran down multiple people with his car, then got out of the car and began stabbing and slashing people with a knife Monday at Ohio State University, a responding officer—a good guy with a gun—shot and killed the suspect, ending the rampage that had killed one and sent nine to area hospitals.

“He pulled a large knife and started chasing people around, trying to attack them,” one witness, OSU student Jacob Bower, told CNN. He said the weapon appeared to be a big kitchen knife.

"The cop that subdued the guy with the knife saved so many lives today,” Bower added.
