Following the success of its 590 Shockwave 12-ga. shotgun, Mossberg has introduced a 20-ga. option, with proven pump-action features. The Shockwave Raptor bird’s-head pistol grip is shaped to minimize felt recoil, while serving a 14-in. barrel and overall length of 26.4 in. Weighing just 4.95 lbs., it is strapped for safe, controlled handling and has a scaled-down receiver, cob-styled tactical forend, ambidextrous safety, dual extractors, positive steel-to-steel lockup, twin action bars, anti-jam elevator and 6-round capacity. The shotgun handles both 2.75-in. and 3-in. loads.

To read about how the Shockwave performs, check out a review from the Shooting Illustrated staff. Not surprisingly, the gun will be earning the Golden Bullseye Award during the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Dallas this May.

The gun has an MSRP of $455 and can be seen at mossberg.com.
