Hillary Continues To Make Outlandish Liability Claim

posted on October 30, 2015

It doesn’t matter much how often or how thoroughly an anti-gun talking point has been exposed as false—if it makes for a good sound bite, you’re going to keep hearing it. Just like the “40 percent of guns are sold without background checks” lie, Hillary Clinton’s claim that gun manufacturers face no legal liability for their products is completely false and has been debunked by multiple sources

Yet she just keeps repeating it! It’s clear that gun manufacturers face the same kind of liability as anyone else for faulty products; of course, that’s not the kind of liability that Hillary is interested in. She wants to see manufacturers sued out of existence because of what bad people do with their guns—an outcome that even socialist Bernie Sanders recognized as illogical and destructive.
