Home Invader With Knife Shot By Resident In New Jersey

posted on September 21, 2015

A man allegedly invaded a home in Florence Township, N.J., through an open garage door and was confronted by one of the residents, leading to a struggle in which the suspect stabbed the resident with a knife. The Courier Post Online reports that another person in the home then fired a gun at the suspect, hitting him in the arm and causing him to flee the premises.

Aided by a K-9 unit, officers later found the suspect hiding in a closet in an apartment. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, as was his victim, and will be charged with multiple offenses.
