As so-called “mainstream” media raise heck over Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s latest statements about Hillary Clinton’s armed security guards, it’s obvious they don’t really believe what they are saying. They just can’t admit to themselves what a huge hypocrite Clinton actually is on guns.

"She goes around with armed bodyguards like you have never seen before,” Trump said Friday evening in Miami. “I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons. They should disarm. Right? Right?"

Rather than go berserk, media should understand that Trump isn’t threatening anybody. He’s simply pointing out Clinton’s hypocrisy of wanting to further disarm law-abiding Americans with more restrictive gun laws, while at the same time enjoying the armed security she would deny to us lesser beings.

Trump’s running mate, Mike Pence, explained it quite succinctly: "The point that he was making is that Hillary Clinton has had private security now in her life for the last 30 years, but she would deny the right of law-abiding citizens to have a firearm in their home to protect their own families.”
