Michigan Concealed Carrier Stops Armed Robbery

It’s a headline we could write every day: Just change the state and the identity of the law-abiding gun owner.

On Thursday morning, four men attempted to rob an off-duty security guard, who was also a concealed-carry permit holder. Unfortunately for the robbers, they picked the wrong victim.

According to local media reports, attackers hit the security guard in the head with a baton when he didn’t hand over his belongings fast enough. The victim, who is licensed to carry a concealed weapon, shot at the attackers, hitting one and sending him to the hospital. The others all fled.
