A Cincinnati man, who was legally carrying a concealed firearm on Saturday, used it to stop three attackers who jumped him on the street.

According to local law-enforcement sources, the man was attacked by another man and two women in the North College Hill area of Cincinnati. As he was being attacked, he drew his concealed handgun and shot the male attacker once, sending all three assailants fleeing.

The attacker was later taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive his wounds.
