One Of Tuesday’s Biggest Losers: “Mainstream” Media

posted on November 11, 2016

The day after Donald Trump shocked Democrats and the media, The New York Times ran a headline declaring, “It’s Mourning in America.” Indeed, by Wednesday, the grief period was just settling in for most so-called “mainstream” media outlets.

From the moment Trump announced his candidacy, the liberal media launched an all-out assault campaign to discredit and disparage him. Their biased coverage certainly didn’t go unnoticed—a Media Research Center study found that 91 percent of the coverage on Trump from ABC, CBS and NBC was hostile.

They compared him to Hitler, declared him clinically insane; labeled him an imbecile; accused him of racism, xenophobia and misogyny; and likened him to a “raving meth head with a machete.” But they not only got it wrong with Trump, they completely whiffed on the election.

Is it any wonder these so-called “journalists” were shell-shocked at the results? By believing what they wanted to believe, they went down in flames—right alongside Hillary.
