Retired NYPD Lieutenant Stops Grocery Store Robbery

At around 4 a.m. on Sunday, two armed suspects entered Washington Sea Food grocery store in Brooklyn’s Clinton Hill. Unfortunately for them, however, a retired NYPD lieutenant was working as a security guard for the store at the time. 

When the suspects spotted the officer, one turned his gun on him, prompting the officer to fire two shots at the suspects in self-defense. The two fled the scene empty handed, and according to police are still at large. No one was injured during the incident.
