Strip Club Employee Defends Self Against Ambush

posted on August 6, 2015

A worker at the Crazy Horse Showclub in Rock Hill, S.C., is uninjured today because of his quick reflexes—and his possession of a firearm. He walked outside the strip club at 2:15 a.m. and saw a man waiting for him. David “Chilli Bean” Morgan, an ex-con who had been escorted out of the club earlier for sitting on the stage, reportedly fired several shots at the employee, who drew his own gun and shot Morgan in the shoulder.

Morgan, identified as the father of NFL star Jadeveon Clowney, was transported to the hospital and later charged with attempted murder. Of course, his criminal record meant that he was already legally prohibited from possessing a firearm.
