Students Robbed At Gunpoint On Florida College Campus “Gun-Free Zone”

posted on August 19, 2016

Two Florida State University students were robbed by a man armed with a handgun early Tuesday morning, WXTL reports. The incident happened less than a mile away from where a Florida Senate committee killed a campus-carry bill this spring. (Apparently, the armed robber didn’t get the memo.)

As Breitbart has reported, when a gunman opened fire at Florida State University’s Strozier Library less than two years ago, a man was present who might have stopped it—a student who was a trained Army combat veteran and a concealed-carry permit holder—but Florida’s ban on campus carry left him disarmed and unable to defend the three who were shot in that incident.

How much longer will the American people accept the hypocrisy of politicians who, like Hillary Clinton, demand taxpayer-financed armed security for themselves, yet plot to deny that same God-given, constitutionally-guaranteed protection to those who might actually need it?
