In yet another example of what Shannon Watts of Moms Demand Action says “never happens,” a good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun trying to rob him in Texas.

According to local media reports, the intended robbery victim was confronted by two men—one of them with a gun—in a Beaumont, Texas, parking lot last Thursday. Unbeknownst to the robbers, however, the victim had a concealed handgun and a license to carry it. He grabbed his handgun and fired several shots, hitting the armed robber and causing the other to quickly flee the scene.

The wounded armed robber was arrested and taken to a nearby hospital. Police are still trying to identify the other attempted robbery suspect.
