Virginia Man Fights Off Four Apartment Invaders

When four armed men walked up the stairs of an apartment building near Norfolk Naval Base and kicked in the door, they got more than they bargained for.

According to local media reports, the resident of the apartment grabbed a gun and began shooting at the intruders, killing one and wounding another.

A man who lived in the building told pilotonline.com that hopes the shooter doesn’t get into trouble over the incident, because he was simply defending himself. “He did what any grown man would do to protect his household,” the neighbor said.
