In our lifetime, there has never been a more critical tipping point for our free nation than what will happen at the ballot box on Nov. 8. Our 5 million NRA members—with our power to persuade others—can make the difference in what is perhaps the last chance to secure and preserve our unique American liberty.

Each of us has the opportunity to make our mark on history by voting for Donald Trump as president and voting to keep our pro-freedom majorities in the U.S. House and Senate. To do this, we must vote and get as many like-minded voters to the polls as possible.

Each of us has the opportunity to make our mark on history by voting for Donald Trump as president and voting to keep our pro-freedom majorities in the U.S. House and Senate.Trump’s promise to “Make America Great Again” is not just a slogan. It is a solemn pledge. It is a call to political battle for all Americans who have watched our rights—and the freedom they secure—slip away under eight years of President Barack Obama’s arrogant abuse of executive power.

Trump and the appointees he will bring into the government to replace Obama’s radicals can restore and rebuild American exceptionalism—the very notion that our liberty is not just the key for a strong and prosperous nation, but is a beacon to the world showing the power of free individual citizens.

Most importantly, Trump has committed to filling sure vacancies on the U.S. Supreme Court with men and women who will uphold the Bill of Rights. For gun owners, nothing is more crucial. Everything we have worked for through all these years could be wiped out with one Hillary Clinton-appointed gun-ban justice. But think what would happen if two, or perhaps three, more justices who despise the Second Amendment were appointed.

Then there are all of the cabinet officials and heads of government agencies who have seized power never granted by Congress and used it against ordinary citizens. Think about the scandals at the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Social Security Administration, agencies that are hell-bent on disarming older Americans and veterans who receive benefits simply because they are assisted in managing their finances by relatives. The nation needs a builder of liberty, a committed individual who can organize a government dedicated to serving the people—a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Think of the IRS and its abuse and harassment of citizens wishing to create lawful organizations to affect our nation’s politics and policies. Think of the U.S. Justice Department running guns to the Mexican cartels and almost never prosecuting violent armed criminals. Think of the Department of Homeland Security refusing to enforce immigration laws and releasing tens of thousands of criminal aliens into the general population. Think of that agency’s failure to secure the borders, allowing Mexican drug cartels to create fearsome satellites in major urban centers. The list of rogue agencies and their rogue actions is nearly endless.

With the election of Trump, justice can be served and those corrupt policies can be reversed.

Were Clinton to capture the White House, the Obama administration’s abuses will look like the junior varsity team.

The truth is, Obama and his agents have not just transformed the nation, they have degraded it.Look no further than Clinton’s performance as Secretary of State—a shameful “legacy” producing nothing but failures, dishonesty and a fog of lies, all jeopardizing national security.

The nation needs a builder of liberty, a committed individual who can organize a government dedicated to serving the people—a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

We have that leader in Trump.

Trump has perhaps one of the most daunting tasks of anyone who has sought the presidency of the United States in modern times. He must undo eight years of destruction that Obama and his gang of radicals have brought down on virtually every aspect of our nation.

Just days before Obama took the oath of office, he vowed to “fundamentally transform the United States of America.”

The truth is, Obama and his agents have not just transformed the nation, they have degraded it. They have degraded our culture. They have degraded our reputation. They have degraded our very way of life. They have degraded liberty. Moreover, they have degraded those charged with protecting our nation and our neighborhoods—our military and our police.

Clinton would be far worse.

But this election is not just about stopping Clinton. It is about electing Donald Trump as president and keeping a pro-freedom House and Senate, restoring our nation and the confidence of the American people. It is about restoring freedom.

To that end, you and I, and everyone we can get to the polls Nov. 8, are the key, quite literally, to saving the nation. If each of us does our part on Election Day, future generations can live in the fresh air of American liberty, and American exceptionalism can be restored.
