Your New One-Stop Shop For Anti-Gun “News”

posted on May 11, 2015

Because MSNBC does occasionally have to talk about other things, Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety is bringing us that rare unicorn—a “news” service devoted entirely to gun-grabber propaganda. Remember the “Gun Report” feature that ran in The New York Times? Joe Nocera, the journalist who founded the series, brought it to an end saying that he felt they had “made the point already.” But for his erstwhile writer Jennifer Mascia, it’s never too much when money is involved. Mascia is slated to play a prominent role in the Everytown “news” project.

We wish we could say we’re looking forward to the hilarious misinformation that is sure to ensue, but the reality is that the content will mostly be hideous crimes—all spun to convince us that the firearms involved are somehow more responsible than the humans pulling the trigger.
