American Sniper Shootout Demonstrates TrackingPoint Tech

Taya Kyle, widow of legendary sniper Chris Kyle, took on NRA World Shooting Champion Bruce Piatt in a match intended to raise money for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation—and to demonstrate the power of TrackingPoint technology. Using TrackingPoint guns, Kyle—who describes herself as a “novice” shooter—handily defeated Piatt at the first inaugural American Sniper Shootout in Mason, Texas.

TrackingPoint has been looking for military and law enforcement contracts, and they are likely to encounter renewed interest based on this powerful proof of concept. When she spoke to us in October, Taya Kyle emphasized that this technology could be a major leap forward for modern warfare, and a way to save countless lives.
