Texas Dealership Offering Free Gun With Auto Purchase

posted on May 12, 2015

Now this is the kind of promotion we can get behind—and a powerful argument for life in the Lone Star State.

For a limited time, a car dealership in Andrews, Texas, is offering a free firearm to anyone who purchases a vehicle. Because real life isn’t “Bowling for Columbine,” the winner is expected to undergo a background check—the general manager for the Benny Boyd car dealership pointed out that “Sometimes bad people buy cars.”

The prize comes in the form of a $500 gift certificate to a local farm and ranch supply store, so it could be spent on a gun or something else. We salute Benny Boyd for support of the Second Amendment—and their clever marketing sense.
