Bloomberg Spends Big Bucks To Make N.H. Like N.Y.

posted on October 25, 2016

We’ve already seen gun-ban billionaire Michael Bloomberg throw millions into gun-control ballot initiatives in Maine and Nevada—but now that Silver State Second Amendment supporters are fighting back, as Ginny Simone reports, he has set his sights on New Hampshire.

The former New York City mayor has rewarded Democratic New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan for her anti-gun votes with $2 million in ads for her Senate campaign. Now he’s looking to buy a Senate seat for former Sen. Peggy Gilmour by running an ad against her competitor. In true Bloomberg fashion, the 30-second spot just can’t quite seem to tell the truth. It’s full of false and misleading statements, which seem to be the hallmark of Bloomberg-funded groups like Everytown and Moms Demand Action.

In truth, billionaire Bloomberg will say, do or spend whatever is necessary to advance his gun-control agenda. With Hassan and Gilmour, he would have two willing accomplices in the Granite State.
