Many so-called “mainstream” media outlets are touting doom and gloom for Black Friday gun sales in what appears to be an effort to drive a wedge between President-elect Donald Trump and gun makers, sellers and buyers.

USA Today posted a story on Wednesday with the headline, “Trump’s Win May Blast Gun Sales Record On Black Friday.” The headline on msn.com read, “Trump’s Pro-Second Amendment Platform Could End Gun Sales Boom.” And over at Truenews.com, the headline read, “Trump Victory: Bitter Sweet For Gun Shops.”

While only time will tell whether record gun sales will continue, there’s absolutely no doubt that the worst thing possible for gun sales would have been Hillary Clinton winning the presidency and, as a result, the Second Amendment being trashed beyond recognition by anti-gun Supreme Court justices. Mike Goschinski, owner of Ashland, Ohio-based Fin Feather Fur Outfitters, summed it up best when he told USA Today: “If she would have won, we would have had four crazy years of business again, and in terms of short-term greediness, it would have been great. But we are all about the long term. The Second Amendment will be protected for many years to come.”
