Obama’s Biggest Frustration—Failure On Gun Control

President Barack Obama continues to lament his inability to pass gun control. In a CNN special that aired Wednesday, Obama talked to CNN’s Fareed Zakaria about his two terms in office. His biggest regret seemed to be the fact that the Second Amendment is still intact.

In “The Legacy of Barack Obama,” the president remarked, “If you ask me where has been the one area where I feel that I’ve been most frustrated and most stymied, it is the fact that the United States of America is the one advanced nation on earth in which we do not have sufficient common-sense gun safety laws.”

As Americans showed at the polls just last month, the only “common-sense” gun law needed is the Second Amendment. In trying to take it away, Obama unwittingly became America’s best gun salesman. And thanks to his failed presidency, we now have a president-elect who is a staunch supporter of the U.S. Constitution and our right to keep and bear arms.
