Facebook Founder Spends $16 Million On Armed Security While Attacking Gun Rights

posted on April 30, 2016

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg spent $16 million to surround himself with armed security—including 16 bodyguards just for his home—even as he banned Facebook ads for firearm sales and canceled user accounts that so much as included the word “firearm,” Breitbart reports

The social media billionaire, who’s worth over $35 billion, made headlines in February as he jogged in Berlin, escorted by a phalanx of armed bodyguards—just days after he banned ads that even “promote firearms, ammunition ... or weapons of any kind, including those used for self-defense.”

The message, and its hypocrisy, are clear: “Don’t do as I do, just do as I say.” It’s the same arrogance and hypocrisy we get from Hillary Clinton, Michael Bloomberg and elitists everywhere, who demand arms for their own protection but deny them to others. As George Orwell wrote, “All animals are equal. But some animals are more equal than others.”
