SIG Sauer Academy Expands with Rifle and Shotgun Fundamentals

SIG Sauer Academy recently announced the addition of Rifle and Shotgun fundamentals classes to their 2019 lineup. Rifle Fundamentals will be offered January 16, 2019, and Shotgun Fundamentals March 11, 2019.

The classes are designed with new firearms owners and give students the tools of basic knowledge and skills to safely handle, load, fire and unload common types of firearms within those two categories. Among topics covered will be proper safety, operation, handling skills, marksmanship, zeroing procedures and positional shooting. Students will also learn the maintenance of a modern sporting rifle or shotgun. With the opportunity to learn in both the classroom and on the range, students will be encouraged to develop a solid skills base with their equipment.
