hope to see many of you at the 2022 Great American Outdoor Show (GAOS), which is scheduled for Feb. 5-13 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pa. The world’s largest outdoors show, this nine-day extravaganza is a celebration of everything great about the hunting, fishing and outdoor traditions that are treasured by millions of NRA members.

Since the NRA created GAOS in 2014, the show has been a much-anticipated annual event and a major boon for the state and local economy. Exhibitors and show attendees from Pennsylvania, as well as around the country and globe, travel to the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex each year, contributing approximately $75 million to the local economy.

More than 175,000 people attended NRA’s 2020 GAOS. To the great disappointment of hundreds of thousands of sportsmen and women, myself included, COVID-related governmental restrictions in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prevented the 2021 GAOS from being held as scheduled last February. After this interruption, I’m looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones while visiting the Keystone State at this year’s show.

This year’s GAOS will have more than 1,100 exhibitors covering 650,000 square feet of exhibit-hall space, with outdoor and shooting-related products on display—from firearms and accessories to hunting and archery equipment, plus fishing tackle, boats, ATVs and RVs. The jam-packed schedule also includes country-music concerts, fundraising dinners, speaking events, archery competitions, celebrity appearances, seminars, demonstrations and much more.

Your entire family will enjoy the multitude of activities available at GAOS. At the NRA Air Gun Range, compete for bragging rights and decide who is the best shot in your family, visit the Kid’s Trout Pond for some angling action, observe amazing canine acrobatic abilities at the Dock Dogs pool, and don’t forget the Friends of NRA Banquet with a live auction and the famous “Wall of Guns.” With all this, it’s easy to see why the Great American Outdoor Show is so popular and why people come back year after year.

Regular GAOS adult admission is only $15, but with all the exhibits to see and other things to do, one day just won’t be enough! Purchase a two-day pass for $25 to ensure you don’t miss a single moment of the show. In addition, special rates apply for kids, seniors and groups. Children five and under and guests who purchase or renew their NRA membership at the show receive free admission!
