ABC 13 is reporting that two suspects were robbing a house in Harris County when the homeowner, his wife, and young son pulled into the driveway. A neighbor across the street, Daniel Castillo, witnessed the incident. “I see my neighbor pulling inside, then I see the guy aiming the gun at him,” Castillo said.
The firearm was a gun stolen from the house, and the robbers shot at the family as both parties ran in opposite directions. The Sheriff’s Office reports the two suspects ended up a few blocks away, where they began beating an elderly man in his driveway. That’s when someone inside the second house came out with a gun, aimed, then fired—fatally striking one of the burglars.
