NRA “Freedom Days” are coming, and Bass Pro Shops are rewarding customers who renew memberships or join the NRA at any store. The NRA’s larger “Freedom Days” event takes place between July 15 and 31, offering discounted prices on firearms—which Bass Pro advertises as “2nd Amendment Instant Savings on Guns.” The discount equals “applicable state sales tax up to $150” in the city where the shop is located.

In addition, on Saturday and Sunday Bass Pro says anyone renewing their NRA membership in-store will receive a $25 gift card, and an NRA representative will be present in every Bass Pro store for the membership drive. Most stores will also have a “Kids’ Shooting Range and Workshop” on those dates as well.

In addition to the two-week sales tax discount, Bass Pro Shops is also giving away a free Plano case with handgun purchases of $300 or more.
