With Tuesday’s presidential election nearly here, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden (or was it his team?) went on Twitter on Sunday and reiterated just how radical his stances are on the Second Amendment.

“It’s long past time we take action to end the scourge of gun violence in America. As president, I’ll ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, implement universal background checks and enact other common-sense reforms to end our gun violence epidemic,” tweeted Biden.

Despite the fact that neither presidential debate, nor the vice-presidential debate, touched on the Second Amendment, Biden’s campaign website has listed what can only be described as the most anti-gun policy platform in presidential history. Biden has long been opposed to your right to keep and bear arms, but his campaign had been working diligently to keep this out of the spotlight.

This tweet, however, lays it all out in the open, and right before the election. Now, he—and running mate, Kamala Harris—are no longer trying to hide their radicalism.

Biden’s desire to ban the manufacture and sale of popular semi-automatic firearms is telling. The ones he can’t take away he’d like to regulate with the National Firearms Act. This means fees, gun registries, and more for an expansive list of firearms. This section of the campaign website also links to a plan from the anti-gun group Giffords, which specifically defines “assault weapons” as AR-15s and similar variants.

By following this plan, not only would there be a $200 fee to register each firearm, but it would also require each individual to undergo a background check, to be fingerprinted, to be photographed, and to submit identification, all of which would effectively create a national registry of firearms owners.

Of course, all of this would be done despite the fact that AR-style rifles are used in an infinitesimally small number of crimes. Biden’s crusade against the Second Amendment has never cared about the facts.

His tweet also spoke about banning “high-capacity magazines,” which is another subjective and relative term that politicians like Biden would like to expand until nothing is left.

Finally, his perpetual use of the term “gun violence” deliberately ignores the fact that guns are not violent—some people are. Guns are tools that not only require, but also foster, responsibility. Millions of Americans own these tools and exercise their constitutional rights lawfully and safely each and every day.

In an exclusive interview with America’s 1st Freedom, President Donald Trump said, “I respect American freedom. Biden wants to take it away. We won’t have a Second Amendment if he is elected.”

The choice for those who wish to protect the Second Amendment is clear. Tomorrow, freedom is on the ballot.

Cynical Strategies To Subvert The Protection Of Lawful Commerce In Arms Act

Since President George W. Bush signed the bipartisan Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) into law on Oct. 26, 2005, those bent on civilian disarmament have sought to bypass the legislation’s clear commands. In fact, 20 years later, gunmakers were fending off a frivolous nuisance suit from the city of Gary, Ind., filed in 1999, despite the PLCAA and state-analogue legislation.

President’s Column | NRA Focus On The Vision

I can’t believe it’s been seven months since I was elected NRA president, and I’m already composing my eighth President’s Column. The officers never fully anticipated or appreciated the immense challenges we faced when elected.

Standing Guard | The NRA is Strong

The strength of the NRA is, and has always been, our membership. Without our millions of members, we would not be able to effectively rally behind elections for pro-freedom politicians; just as importantly, if not for our large membership, our representatives in office would not feel the same urgency to listen to us in this constitutional republic.
