The manager of a California medical marijuana dispensary used his firearm to fend off two heavily armed men who tried to rob him Tuesday night.

According to local media reports, two men, dressed in body armor and with their faces covered, burst into his business and pointed guns at him. The manager grabbed his handgun and fired at least 10 shots at the suspects in self-defense.

Authorities said both suspects were taken to the hospital for treatment for gunshot wounds. Their conditions were not immediately released.
