In his tenth-anniversary column for wnd.com, actor and “Walker, Texas Ranger” star Chuck Norris recapped the dangers Americans have faced during the Obama administration—and warns readers that, if we don’t all take the time to head to the polls on Nov. 8, our rights could be roundhouse-kicked into the dustbin of history.
Under Obama, Norris points out, gun owners have been subject to executive orders, additional gun-free zones and a general dismissal of our culture. (Remember his comments about clinging to guns and religion?) While he’s worked at hamstringing our rights, he’s also commuted more prisoners than the past 11 presidents combined—all of which has contributed to a spike in crime.
With the Supreme Court on the line and a virulently anti-gun candidate on the ballot, the worst may be yet to come—if Americans don’t vow to protect the rights this country was founded upon before all else. “It is imperative that we take action now, lest we doom … our posterity’s right to bear arms only to a constitutional piece of paper that sits under glass at the National Archives,” Norris warned.
