As a direct response to President Barack Obama and the mainstream media’s current anti-gun agenda, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) has joined forces with the National Rifle Association to hold the “Thank God for Guns in America” town hall. It’s the Right’s answer to the recent Obama-CNN anti-gun town hall “Guns in America,” according to organizers.

The NRA chose not to attend CNN’s Jan. 7 televised, pre-scripted dog-and-pony show during which Obama outlined his recent executive action plans to control guns—an event the Second Amendment advocacy group criticized as an “Obama Gun Ban Media Circus” not worthy of participating in. Chris W. Cox, executive director of NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action, will participate in the upcoming CPAC town hall, scheduled for March 5.
