A concealed-carry permit holder in Detroit, Mich., has survived an armed robbery attempt by two young men. According to WXYZ, the suspects approached the 50-year-old resident with a sawed-off rifle and a handgun while he was trying to use an ATM at his local bank branch. The armed citizen was wounded in the ensuing exchange, as were both of the suspects, who will now hopefully face jail time instead of victimizing more neighborhood residents.

All three men were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and the two suspects are in police custody.
