When three women were leaving for church on a quiet Sunday morning, they probably didn’t expect to run into someone with criminal intent on his mind.

The man apparently had been lurking near the driveway. When the three women came outside, he forced them back into the house. One of the women responded by grabbing a gun that she kept for self-defense and shooting at the man three times.

At least one bullet hit the intruder in the chest, dropping him. When the police arrived, they determined that he was dead.

The police said that the woman would not be charged as it was apparent that she was protecting herself and others.
