A special edition of Henry’s groundbreaking Lever Action Supreme is the Friends of NRA Gun of the Year for 2025. This special-edition rifle sports the Friends of NRA logo laser engraved on the receiver, is made exclusively for Friends of NRA events with special NRA serialization and is limited to 750 units.

Henry made waves when it revealed the Lever Action Supreme at the 2024 NSSF SHOT Show (a huge annual industry event). The design is unique, particularly for the iconic Henry brand, in that it accepts box magazines, coming standard with a 10-round Magpul PMAG with a five-round limiter to comply with hunting regulations in certain parts of the country.

Long lines at Henry’s SHOT Show firing line and in the company’s show booth attested to the public’s desire for this high-quality, high-capacity lever-action.

“I am pleased to continue the long-standing relationship between Henry Repeating Arms and our Friends of NRA program in 2025,” said James P. Carter, executive director of the NRA Office of Advancement. “Henry has once again joined with Friends of NRA to feature an exclusive Lever Action Supreme 5.56/.223 as the 2025 Gun of the Year. This rifle was designed exclusively for Friends of NRA and will only be available at 2025 Friends of NRA events.”

In addition to the MSR magazine capability, the Henry Lever Action Supreme features an adjustable 4-pound match-grade trigger, fully ambidextrous operation, an internal hammer, an 18-inch free-floated and threaded barrel and genuine American walnut stocks cut with diamond checkering. The patent-pending trapezoidal rear sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation. The aerospace-grade aluminum receiver is also drilled and tapped to accept an optics base. It is proudly made in the USA.

“Henry Repeating Arms is thrilled that the Henry Lever Action Supreme Rifle has been selected as the 2025 Gun of the Year, making it the second consecutive year that a Henry has received this distinction,” said Andy Wickstrom, president of Henry Repeating Arms. “I have no doubt this groundbreaking rifle will help Friends of NRA committees raise crucial funds to continue their efforts in safeguarding our Second Amendment rights, supporting shooting sports, and preserving our hunting heritage. At Henry Repeating Arms, we’re proud to stand with those who share our passion for these freedoms and traditions.”

“Friends of NRA is aligned with Henry Repeating Arms’ core values and agenda,” Anthony Imperato, founder and CEO of Henry Repeating Arms, said. “Securing the Second Amendment, promoting shooting sports traditions, in particular for our youth, and supporting firearms safety initiatives. If Henry rifles, shotguns and revolvers can help advance these causes, then it is a win-win. To have our firearms selected as Gun of the Year back-to-back is a testament to a great working partnership, and we are honored to stand side by side with Friends of NRA.”

“Henry’s support continues a multi-year relationship with Friends of NRA and The NRA Foundation, and we are grateful for this partnership and thrive on the impact they have on our fundraising,” Carter added. “I want to thank Anthony Imperato and his committed staff for all the support they provide to The NRA Foundation.”
