Hillary Clinton Sticks To Her Guns, Lies On Seth Meyers Show

posted on December 12, 2015

Appearing on NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” Thursday, Hillary Clinton made a special point to trot out the tired litany of lies she routinely tells about gun owners, firearms and the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

Specifically, Hillary claimed that 92 percent of the public and 85 percent of gun owners supposedly support dramatically expanding federal anti-gun laws, including:

  • requiring so-called “universal” background checks that the Obama Justice Department admitted would require gun registration;
  • repealing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, thereby exposing the U.S. firearms industry to bankruptcy due to baseless, politically motivated lawsuits; and
  • putting the government in the middle of every firearm transfer.

Hillary can claim that 296 percent of Americans want to ban guns, but that wouldn’t change the facts: Most Americans believe guns make our homes safer. And even anti-gun media admit that Hillary’s laws can’t prevent lawlessness.
